Modified Neff medium
0.25% proteose peptone
0.25% yeast extract
33.3 μM FeCl3
To avoid precipitate formation, the FeCl3 is first dissolved in one quarter of the final H2O volume, and the glucose, yeast and proteose peptone are added and dissolved next. The remainder of the H2O is then added, bottled and autoclaved.
